In this study, 11 bacterial isolates from Salt Lake,Turkey were identified by using fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) analysis. They were screened for production of industrially important enzymes xylanase, cellulase, a-amylase and protease. Objectives - Political lability in the Near East has brought about the migration of refugees from adjacent countries to Turkey in recent years. To provide an effective health service for refugees, a needs assessment has to be done.
