Axial water substitution kinetics of sulphato- and hydrogenphosphato-bridged binuclear platinum(III) complexes
Camadanli, S; Deveci, N; Gokagac, G; Isci, H (Elsevier BV, 2003-07-22)
The kinetics of the axial water substitution reactions for [Pt-2(B-B)(4)(H2O)(2)](2-) (B-B = SO42-, HpO(4)(2-)) with Cl-, Br- and SCN- are reported in acidic aqueous solution. With a large excess of entering ligand and hydrogen ion, only the disubstituted product complex was formed. The reaction rates are first order with respect to the substrate complex and entering ligand and decrease with increasing H+ concentration. In the presence of 0.10 M H+, the rate constants for the replacement of the first water ...
TANDEM CARBENE INSERTION SEMIPINACOL REARRANGEMENT OF 1-ALKYNYLCYCLOBUTENOLS - A FACILE SYNTHESIS OF 2-ALKENYL-4-CYCLOPENTENE-1,3-DIONES
Zora, Metin (American Chemical Society (ACS), 1994-02-25)
Reaction of chromium carbene complexes and 1-alkynylcyclobutenols leads to 2-alkenyl-4-cyclopentene-1,3-diones. Initial allkyne insertion affords a highly electrophilic carbene complex, which then undergoes an alkyl shift-ring expansion, ultimately producing 2-alkenyl-4-cyclopentene-1,3-diones.
Donor-acceptor pair recombination in Tl2InGaS4 layered crystals
Goksen, K; Hasanlı, Nızamı; Ozkan, H; Aydinli, A (2005-08-01)
Photoluminescence (PL) spectra of Tl2InGaS4 layered single crystals were studied in the temperature range 15-150 K and wide laser excitation intensity range 0.01-110.34 Wcm(-2). We observed a total of three PL, bands, one centered at 542 nm (2.286 eV, A-band), one at 607 nm (2.041 eV, B-band), and one at 707 nm (1.754 eV, C-band), at various excitation intensities. The A- and the B-bands were determined to be due to radiative transitions from moderately deep donor levels located at 0.189 and 0.443 eV below ...
