Axial ligand substitution reaction kinetics of hydrogenphosphato bridged binuclear platinum(III) complex
Camadanlı, Şebnem; İşçi, Hüseyin; Department of Chemistry (1997)
Axial water substitution kinetics of sulphato- and hydrogenphosphato-bridged binuclear platinum(III) complexes
Camadanli, S; Deveci, N; Gokagac, G; Isci, H (Elsevier BV, 2003-07-22)
The kinetics of the axial water substitution reactions for [Pt-2(B-B)(4)(H2O)(2)](2-) (B-B = SO42-, HpO(4)(2-)) with Cl-, Br- and SCN- are reported in acidic aqueous solution. With a large excess of entering ligand and hydrogen ion, only the disubstituted product complex was formed. The reaction rates are first order with respect to the substrate complex and entering ligand and decrease with increasing H+ concentration. In the presence of 0.10 M H+, the rate constants for the replacement of the first water ...
Intramolecular Heterocyclization of O-Propargylated Aromatic Hydroxyaldehydes as an Expedient Route to Substituted Chromenopyridines under Metal-Free Conditions
Keskin, Selbi; Balcı, Metin (2015-02-20)
A concise and regioselective approach to the synthesis of chromenopyridine and chromenopyridinone derivatives was developed. The synthetic strategy relies on the O-propargylation of aromatic hydroxyaldehydes followed by reaction with propargylamine. The intramolecular cycloaddition reaction between the alkyne and azadiene, which is formed as an intermediate, furnished the desired skeletons.
Lateral heating effects on the PVT growth process of Hg2Cl2 crystals
Coskun, AU; Arinc, F; Yener, Y (IOP Publishing, 2003-03-01)
Effects of lateral heating on flow profiles and growth rates during the growth of mercurous chloride crystals by the physical-vapour-transport process in vertical ampoules are investigated by a two-dimensional model. The growth conditions of an experimental study available in the open literature are simulated. Lateral thermal boundary condition is modelled by a spatially sinusoidal heat flux. The results of the present computations are in agreement with the earlier experimental results and indicate that an ...
Axial gas mixing in conical spouted beds with high density particles
Güler, Neslin; KÖKSAL, MURAT; Külah, Görkem (2023-10-01)
Conical spouted beds operating with high-density particles (ρp > 2500 kg/m3) have recently gained attention because of their potential use as nuclear fuel coaters for next-generation nuclear reactors. In the literature, the number of axial gas mixing studies in conical and conical-cylindrical spouted beds is very limited and all axial mixing studies were carried out with relatively light particles (ρp ≤ 2500 kg/m3). Therefore, the objective of this study was to generate experimental data that can be used to...
