Evaluation of Glycomic Profiling as a Diagnostic Biomarker for Epithelial Ovarian Cancer
Kim, Kyoungmi; Ruhaak, L. Renee; Uyen Thao Nguyen, Uyen Thao Nguyen; Taylor, Sandra L.; Dimapasoc, Lauren; Williams, Cynthia; Stroble, Carol; Özcan Kabasakal, Süreyya; Miyamoto, Suzanne; Lebrilla, Carlito B.; Leiserowitz, Gary S. (2014-04-01)
Background: Prior studies suggested that glycans were differentially expressed in patients with ovarian cancer and controls. Wehypothesized that glycan-based biomarkers might serve as a diagnostic test for ovarian cancer and evaluated the ability of glycans to distinguish ovarian cancer cases from matched controls.
Finsler geometry and its applications to electromagnetism
Çağıl, Ayşe; İpekoğlu, Yusuf; Department of Physics (2003)
In this thesis Finsler geometry is extensively reviewed. The geometrization of fields by a Finslerian approach is considered. Also unification of electrodynamics and gravitation with suitable Finslerian metrics is examined.

Investigation of Changes in mRNA Levels of Sporulation Related Genes in OGU1 Strain in Comparison to Standard Strain PY79 of Bacillus subtilis
