İletişim Teknolojilerindeki gelişmeler stok kontrolü ve tedarik zinciri yönetimi alanında gelişmeler için önemli fırsatlar yaratmaktadır. Geçmişte elde edilmesi mümkün ol mayan çeşitli bilgiler artık elde edilebilmektedir. Bu yeni bilgi çeşitlerinden biri olan Ön Talep Bilgisi'nin (ÖTB) etkileri bu tezde incelenmektedir. Bir ürünün ticari web sitesine yapılan ziyaretleri takip etmek gibi yollarla ÖTB elde etmek mümkündür. Bu çalışmada sipariş kararlarında ÖTB 'yi de dikkate alan bir model geliştirilmiştir. İncelenen sistem için dinamik sabit-seviye politikasının en iyi yöntem olduğu ve en iyi sipariş seviyesinin ÖTB'nin artan bir fonksiyonu olduğu gösterilmiş ve eniyi çözümün özellikleri tanımlanmıştır. Miyopik problem yapısı için ÖTB'nin bek lendik değerini formüle eden bir ifade geliştirilmiştir. ÖTB'nin hangi koşullarda daha önemli olduğu teorik ve sayısal olarak açığa çıkarılmıştır. Ayrıca, internet müşterileri ve mağaza müşterileri gibi iki farklı önemde olabilecek talep sınıfının varlığında stok problemi ele alınmıştır. OTB 'yi sipariş ve stok oranlama karar larında dikkate alan bir model geliştirilmiştir. Miyopik problem yapısı için Monte Carlo benzetim yöntemine dayalı bir çözüm metodu önerilmiş ve bu metodun den geli ya da normal dağılmış talep için çözüm uygulamaları geliştirilmiştir. Normal dağılmış talep için sistem parametrelerinin ÖTB'nin beklendik değeri üzerindeki etkisini ölçen sayısal deneyler yapılmıştır.
