Radiative Decays of the phi-meson to the scalar mesons f0(980) and a0(980) are investigated within the framework of charged kaon loop model for both point-like scalar mesons and for scalar mesons with extended structure. Then, the radiative phi-meson decay into neutral K-meson is studied via a two step mechanism in which the scalar mesons couple the final state to the phi-meson through the charged kaon loop. The branching ratio of this decay is calculated and it is shown that this reaction will not provide a significant background to the measurements of phi-meson into neutral K-meson states decay for testing CP violation.

QCD sum rules for the anticharmed pentaqark
Saraç, Yasemin; Gökalp, Ahmet; Department of Physics (2007)
For the anti-charmed pentaquark state with and without strangeness a QCD sum rule analysis, which is one of the nonperturbative approaches, is presented. For this purpose we employ pentaquark currents with and without strangeness, with two different current for each case. To refine the sum rules we also consider the DN continuum contribution in our analysis since this procedure is important to identify the signal of the pentaquark state. While the sum rules for most of the currents are either non-convergent...
Scalar mesons in radiative phi-meson decays into charged k-meson states
Öztürk, Fahri; Gökalp, Ahmet; Department of Physics (2008)
The role of $f_{0}(980)$ and $a_{0}(980)$ scalar meson intermediate states in the mechanism of radiative $\phi (1020)$ meson decay into two charged $K (494)$ mesons and a photon $\phi\rightarrow K^{+} + K^{-} + \gamma$ is investigated. For the contribution of scalar meson intermediate state two models are considered. In the kaon-loop model, the scalar meson intermediate state couples the final state to the initial $\phi$ meson through a charged kaon-loop. The second model, called no-structure model, consist...
Scalar form factor of the nucleon and nucleon-scalar meson coupling constant in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2007-02-01)
Scalar form factor of the nucleon is calculated in the framework of light-cone QCD sum rules, using the most general form of the baryon current. Using the result on scalar form factor of the nucleon, the nucleon-scalar sigma and a(0) meson coupling constants are estimated. Our results on these couplings are in good agreement with the prediction of the external-field QCD sum rules method.
Scalar mesons in radiative phi ->(KK-0)-K-0 gamma decay
Gokalp, A.; Korkmaz, C. S.; Yılmaz, Osman (American Physical Society (APS), 2007-01-01)
We study the radiative phi -> K-0(K) over bar (0)gamma decay within a phenomenological framework by considering the contributions of the f(0)(980) and a(0)(980) scalar resonances. We calculate the branching ratio B(phi -> K-0(K) over bar (0)gamma) by employing the coupling constants g(f0)K(+)K(-) and g(a0)K(+)K(-) as determined by different experimental groups.
Quasi-fission and fusion-fission reactions in Ca-48+Pb-208 collisions at E-c.m.=190 MeV
Yilmaz, O.; Turan, Gürsevil; Yilmaz, B. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2020-02-05)
The yields of quasifission fragments in the Ca-48+Pb-208 are investigated in the framework of the stochastic mean field (SMF) approach based on the Skyrme-TDHF calculations. A method which combines the microscopic time-dependent Hartree-Fock (TDHF) theory with a statistical de-excitation model, GEMINI++, is used for calculating the yields of fusion-fission fragments after de-excitation processes of primary reaction products which is assumed to be dominated by neutron emission in the present system.
