Study on the Structural and Electrical Properties of Sequentially Deposited Ag-Ga-In-Te Thin Films
Coskun, EMRE; Gullu, H. H.; Parlak, Mehmet; Ercelebi, C. (2015-02-01)
The structural properties and electrical conduction mechanisms of Ag-Ga-In-Te thin films deposited by a combination of e-beam and thermal evaporation methods were studied for various annealing temperatures. Structural analysis showed the existence of InTe and InTe binary phases at the early stage of crystallization and monophase of AgGaInTe with the main orientation along (112) direction following the post-annealing at 400 C. The effects of the structural changes on electrical properties and temperature dep...
Study on the electrical properties of ZnSe/Si heterojunction diode
Gullu, H. H.; Bayrakli, O.; Yildiz, D. E.; Parlak, Mehmet (2017-12-01)
ZnSe thin film is e-beam evaporated on monocrystalline p-Si to fabricate n-ZnSe/p-Si heterojunction. The electrical properties were investigated by current-voltage (I-V), capacitance-voltage (C-V) and conductance-voltage (G/w-V) measurements. The forward bias I-V characteristics were analyzed in the temperature range of 220-360 K. The fabricated diode structure exhibited rectifying characteristics with a two order rectification ratio. The current transport in the junction was modeled by the modification of ...
Studies on non-weakly regular bent functions and related structures
Pelen, Rumi Melih; Özbudak, Ferruh; Department of Mathematics (2020)
Interest in bent functions over finite fields arises both from mathematical theory and practical applications. There has been lots of literature addressing various properties of bent functions. They have a number of applications consisting of coding theory, cryptography, and sequence designs. They’re divided into four subclasses: regular bent functions that are contained within the class of weakly regular bent functions that are contained within the class of dual-bent functions. Additionally, there are non-...
Study on Creep Properties of Japonica Cooked Rice and Its Relationship with Rice Chemical Compositions and Sensory Evaluation
Chang, Su-qiang; Li, Dong; Lan, Yubin; Özkan, Necati; Shi, John; Chen, Xiao Dong; Mao, Zhi-huai (2009-01-01)
Creep properties of four varieties japonica cooked rice were tested using a dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA Q800). The creep curve was described by Burgers model. The creep process of japonica cooked rice mainly consisted of retarded elastic deformation, epsilon R and viscous flow deformation, epsilon V, and negligible instantaneous elastic deformation, epsilon E. The retarded elastic modulus, E-2, relaxation time, tau, and the viscosity coefficient, eta 1, of the cooked rice according to the Burger model ...
Investigation on ionicity and its effect on charge carrier selectivity for n-type crystalline silicon solar cells
Eldeeb, Basil Mohamed Mahmoud; Turan, Raşit; Department of Physics (2022-8-31)
Optoelectronic device performance is not exactly governed by the band alignment between two materials. Interfacial layers in combination with a metal cap dictate charge-carrier selectivity and hence semiconductor device performance. Considering the investigations done on a wide array of solid-state surfaces and heterojunctions done both experimentally and theoretically, it is found that the electron localizability, which is quantifiable through the bandgap energy and band width, plays an integral role in th...
