We investigate the CP violating asymmetry, the forward backward asymmetry and the CP violating asymmetry in the forward-backward asymmetry for the inclusive B --> X(d)l(+)l(-) decays for the l = e, mu, tau channels in the standard model. It is observed that these asymmetries are quite sizeable and B --> X(d)l(+)l(-) decays seem promising for investigating CP violation.

CP violation in the radiative dileptonic B-meson decays
Erkol, G; Turan, Gürsevil (IOP Publishing, 2002-12-01)
We investigate the CP violating asymmetry, the forward-backward asymmetry and the CP violating asymmetry in the forward-backward asymmetry for the radiative dileptonic B-meson decays B-d --> gammal(+)l(-) for the f = e, mu, tau channels. It is observed that these asymmetries are quite sizable and B-d --> gamma l(+)l(-) decays seem promising for investigating CP violation.
4TH GENERATION AND SUSY EFFECTS ON CP VIOLATION IN RARE B-]K-PHI, KSTAR-PHI TRANSITIONS
Alıyev, Tahmasıb (Elsevier BV, 1991-03-21)
We have studied the CP asymmetry in B --> K-phi, K*-phi transitions in the framework of the standard model (SM), its generalization to the four-generation case and in its supersymmetric (SUSY) extension. It is shown that in the SM and its SUSY extension with three generations, the asymmetry is less than one percent, but gets larger in the four-generation case, and its SUSY extension. It is shown that the asymmetry in the four-generation case is very sensitive to the gluon momentum. Further, we have shown th...
The B -> X(d)l(+)l(-) decay in general two Higgs doublet model
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Elsevier BV, 1999-04-22)
The branching ratio, forward-backward asymmetry and CP violating asymmetry for B --> X(d)l(+)l(-) decay, in framework of the general two Higgs doublet model, with extra phase angle in the charged-Hwiggs-fermion coupling, are calculated. It is shown that studying the CP violating asymmetry is an efficient tool for establishing new physics.
ANNIHILATION CROSS SECTIONS AND INTERACTION COUPLINGS OF THE DARK MATTER CANDIDATES IN THE WARPED AND FLAT EXTRA DIMENSIONS
Iltan, E. O. (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2010-05-10)
We consider a scenario with an additional scalar standard model singlet phi(S), living in a single extra dimension of the RS1 background. The zero mode of this scalar which is localized in the extra dimension is a dark matter candidate and the annihilation cross section is strongly sensitive to its localization parameter. As a second scenario, we assume that the standard model Higgs field is accessible to the fifth flat extra dimension. At first we take the additional standard model singlet scalar field as ...
B -> K*tau(+)tau(-) decay in the general two Higgs doublet model including the neutral Higgs boson effects
Iltan, EO; Turan, Gürsevil; Turan, İsmail (IOP Publishing, 2002-02-01)
We study the CP violating asymmetry, the forward-backward asymmetry of the lepton pair and the CP asymmetry in the forward-backward asymmetry for the exclusive decay B --> K*tau(+)tau(-) in the general two Higgs doublet model including the neutral Higgs boson effects. We analyse the dependences of these quantities on the model III parameters. We found that the physical parameters studied above are of the order of 1%, and neutral Higgs boson effects are detectable for large values of the coupling (ξ) over...
