COMPOSITION VARIATIONS OF LATTICE-PARAMETERS OF TLIN(SE1-XTEX)2, TLIN(SE1-XSX)2, AND TLIN1-XGAXSE2 MIXED-CRYSTALS

1995-01-01
TlInSe2 and TlInTe2 crystallize in a tetragonal cell (space group 14/mcm) (Muller et al.). A primitive cell of these ternary crystals contains two formula units. All the Tl atoms in these compounds are univalent. The In atoms are trivalent being in a tetrahedral environment consisting of Se or Te atoms. InSe4 or InTe4 fragments of a unit cell form the chains extended along c-axis coinciding with [001] directions. Such chains are bonded to each other by Tl atoms.

Atomic and electronic structure of Bi/GaAs(001)-alpha 2(2x4)
Usanmaz, D.; ÇAKMAK, MELEK; Ellialtıoğlu, Süleyman Şinasi (IOP Publishing, 2008-07-02)
We report an ab initio pseudopotential calculation for the atomic and electronic structure of Bi/GaAs(001)-alpha 2(2 x 4). Three structural models with Bi coverages of Theta = 1/4 are considered, containing one Bi dimer or two Bi-As mixed dimers. According to our calculations for this coverage, the atomic model of the Bi/GaAs(001)-(2 x 4) reconstruction is similar to the alpha 2 structure of the clean GaAs(001)-(2 x 4) surface in which the top As dimer is replaced by a Bi dimer. This result is in agreement ...
Composition dependency of lattice anisotropy of TlBX2-type chain mixed crystals
Hasanlı, Nızamı; Tas, M (Wiley, 2000-01-01)
Variation of the lattice parameters of TlTl1-xInxSe2 chain mixed crystals with composition have been studied by X-ray diffraction technique. The lattice anisotropy (c/a) of the TlBX2-type mixed crystals changes linearly with substitution of the atoms located bath at the center and at the vertices of the BX4 tetrahedra. A brief survey of the important features of the effect of isomorphic atom substitution on the lattice anisotropy of TlBX2-type mixed crystals with chain structure has been presented.
Crystal data, photoconductivity and carrier scattering mechanisms in CuIn5S8 single crystals
Qasrawi, AF; Hasanlı, Nızamı (Wiley, 2001-01-01)
The X-ray diffraction has revealed that CuIn5S8 is a single phase crystal of cubic spinet structure. The value of the unit cell parameter for this crystal is 1.06736 nm. The crystal is assigned to the conventional space group Fd3m. The photocurrent is found to have the characteristic of monomolecular and bimolecular recombination at low and high illumination intensities, respectively. The electrical resistivity and Hall effect of CuIn5S8 crystals are measured in the temperature range of 50-400 K. The crysta...
Synthesis of aromatic poly(pyridinium salt)s and their electrochromic properties
Keshtov, M. L.; UDUM, YASEMİN; Toppare, Levent Kamil; Kochurov, V. S.; Khokhlov, A. R. (Elsevier BV, 2013-05-15)
Synthesis of a series of new conjugated electrochromic polymeric pyridinium salts containing main-chain triphenylamine and their electrochromic properties were demonstrated. All polymers exhibit intense UV absorptions at 336-338 nm in DMF and 340-343 nm in thin film form and fluorescence centered at 410-438 nm in DMF and 460-461 nm in thin film form. The electrochromic properties of the films were investigated by electrochemical and spectroelectrochemical methods. Reversible redox signals with stable electr...
Conducting polymers of decanedioic acid bis-(4-pyrrol-1-yl-phenyl) ester
Çırpan, Ali; Toppare, Levent Kamil (Elsevier BV, 2004-05-15)
A dipyrrolyl monomer was synthesized via the reaction between 4-pyrrol-1-yl phenol and decanedioyl dichloride. The electrochemical behavior of this monomer was studied. Polymerization of decanedioic acid bis-(4-pyrrol-1-yi-phenyl) ester (DAPE) was achieved by chemical and constant current electrolyses methods. Copolymerization of DAPE with thiophene was performed by constant potential electrolysis in acetonitrile-tetrabutylammonium tetrafluoroborate (TBAFB), dichloromethane-TBAFB, solvent-electrolyte couple...
