Block Based Video Data Hiding Using Repeat Accumulate Codes and Forbidden Zone Data Hiding

2009-12-18
Video data hiding is still an important research topic due to the design complexities in We propose a new video data hi cling method that makes use of erasure correction capability of Repeat Accumulate codes and superiority of a novel scheme, namely Forbidden Zone Data Hiding Selective embedding is utilized in the proposed method to determine host signal samples suitable for data hiding This method also contains a temporal synchronization scheme in order to withstand frame drop and insert attacks The proposed framework is tested by typical broadcast material against MPEG-2. H 264 compression and some frame-rate conversion attacks The decoding en or values are reponed On typical system parameters The simulation results Indicate that the framework can be successfully utilized in video data hiding applications

Data interoperability through federated semantic metadata registries
Sınacı, Ali Anıl; Çiçekli, Fehime Nihan; Doğaç, Asuman; Department of Computer Engineering (2014)
In this study, a unified methodology together with the supporting framework for the problem of data interoperability is introduced which brings together the power of metadata registries and semantic web technologies. A federated architecture of semantic metadata registries which are purely based on ISO/IEC 11179 standard leads to the Linked Open Data integration of data element repositories where each element can be uniquely identified, referenced and processed to enable the syntactic and semantic interoper...

Content based copy detection (CBCD) emerges as a viable choice against active detection methodology of watermarking. The very first reason is that the media already under circulation cannot be marked and secondly, CBCD inherently can endure various severe attacks, which watermarking cannot. Although in general, media content is handled independently as visual and audio in this work both information sources are utilized in a unified framework, in which coarse representation of fundamental features are employ...
Cluster based model diagnostic for logistic regression
Tanju, Özge; Kalaylıoğlu Akyıldız, Zeynep Işıl; Department of Statistics (2016)
Model selection methods are commonly used to identify the best approximation that explains the data. Existing methods are generally based on the information theory, such as Akaike Information Criterion (AIC), corrected Akaike Information Criterion (AICc), Consistent Akaike Information Criterion (CAIC), and Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC). These criteria do not depend on any modeling purposes. In this thesis, we propose a new method for logistic regression model selection where the modeling purpose is c...
Tree-structured Data Clustering
Dinler, Derya; Tural, Mustafa Kemal; Özdemirel, Nur Evin (null; 2018-11-04)
Tree-structured Data ClusteringWe consider a clustering problem in which data objects are rooted trees withunweighted or weighted edges and propose a k-means based algorithm whichrepeats assignment and update steps until convergence. The assignment steputilizes Vertex Edge Overlap to assign each data object to the most similarcentroid. In the update step, each centroid is updated by considering the dataobjects assigned to it. For the unweighted edges case, we propose a NonlinearInteger Programming (NIP) for...
