The experiments at LHC have shown that the SUSY (exotic) bound states are likely to form bound states in an entirely similar fashion as ordinary quarks form bound states, i.e. quarkonium. Also, the interaction between two squarks is due to gluon exchange which is found to be very similar to that interaction between two ordinary quarks. This motivates us to solve the Schrodinger equation with a strictly phenomenological static quark-antiquark potential: V(r) = -Ar-1 + kappa root r + V-0 using the shifted large N-expansion method to calculate the low-lying spectrum of a heavy quark with antisbottom (c)over bar>, b)over bar>) and sbottom with antisobottom ()over bar>)over bar>) bound states with m((b) over tilde) is set free. To have a full knowledge on spectrum, we also give the result for a heavier as well as for lighter sbottom masses. As a test for the reliability of these calculations, we fix the parameters of this potential by fitting the spin-triplet (n(3)S(1)) and center-of-gravity l not equal 0 experimental spectrum of the ordinary heavy quarkonia c (c) over bar, c (b) over bar, and b (b) over bar to few MeV. Our results are compared with other models to gauge the reliability of these predictions and point out differences.

Mass spectra of heavy quarkonia and B-c decay constant for static scalar-vector interactions with relativistic kinematics
Ikhdair, SM; Sever, Ramazan (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2005-11-10)
We reproduce masses of the self-conjugate and non-self-conjugate mesons in the context of the spinless Salpeter equation taking into account the relativistic kinematics and the quark spins. The hyperfine splittings for the 2S charmonium and IS bottomonium are also calculated. Further, the pseudoscalar and vector decay constants of the Be meson and the unperturbed radial wave function at the origin are also calculated. We have obtained a local equation with a complete relativistic corrections to a class of t...
Radiative lepton flavor violating decays in the Randall-Sundrum background with localized leptons
Iltan, E. O. (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2008-03-20)
We study the radiative lepton. avor violating l(i)-> l(j) gamma decays in the two- Higgs doublet model, respecting the Randall-Sundrum scenario and estimate the contributions of the KK modes of left- ( right-) handed charged lepton doublets ( singlets) on the branching ratios. We observe that the branching ratios are sensitive to the contributions of the charged lepton KK modes.
SEMICLASSICAL BLACK HOLES WITH LARGE N RESCALING AND INFORMATION LOSS PROBLEM
Yeom, Dong-Han; Zoe, Heeseung (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2011-07-30)
We consider semiclassical black holes and related rescalings with N massless fields. For a given semiclassical solution of an N = 1 universe, we can find other solution of a large N universe by the rescaling. After the rescaling, any curvature quantity takes a sufficiently small value without changing its causal structure. Via the rescaling, we argue that black hole complementarity for semiclassical black holes cannot provide a fundamental resolution of the information loss problem, and the violation of bla...
Strange particle production in pp collisions at root s=0.9 and 7 TeV
Khachatryan, V.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2011-05-01)
The spectra of strange hadrons are measured in proton-proton collisions, recorded by the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC, at centre-of-mass energies of 0.9 and 7TeV. The K-S(0), A, and Xi(-) particles and their antiparticles are reconstructed from their decay topologies and the production rates are measured as functions of rapidity and transverse momentum, p(T). The results are compared to other experiments and to predictions of the PYTHIA Monte Carlo program. The p(T) distributions are found to differ subst...
Interacting quantum topologies and the quantum Hall effect
Balachandran, A. P.; Gupta, Kumar S.; Kürkcüoğlu, Seçkin (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2008-04-10)
The algebra of observables of planar electrons subject to a constant background magnetic field B is given by A(theta)(R-2) circle times A(theta)(R-2) (theta = -4/eB), the product of two mutually commuting Moyal algebras. It describes the free Hamiltonian and the guiding center coordinates. We argue that A(theta)(R-2) itself furnishes a representation space for the actions of these two Moyal algebras, and suggest physical arguments for this choice of the representation space. We give the proper setup to coup...
