ISOTOPIC-SPIN IMPURITY IN THE ALPHA-PARTICLE

The isotopic-spin impurity introduced to the ground state of an alpha-particle by the Coulomb plus specifically charge-dependent nuclear forces is investigated. The upper limit of the impurity is calculated by shell model wave functions. The sum of the squared amplitudes of T=1, L not-equal 0 states is found to be in the order of 10(-4), which is one order of magnitude greater than earlier predictions.

We study the charged lepton electric dipole moment which is induced by the scalar unparticle mediation and we predict the appropriate range for the free parameters appearing in the effective Lagrangian which drives the unparticle-standard model lepton interactions. We calculated the Stokes parameters which characterize the polarization properties of the photons produced in the decay b-->s gamma g in the framework of the Standard Model (SM) and Two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM).
