The purpose of this study is to determine undergraduate students’ needs regarding services at university and to examine to what extend student needs change with respect to gender and class level. In addition, the study obtained students’ opinions regarding time, format and announcement of the activities that fulfill their needs. Out of 16800 undergraduate students, 5000 students receiving education in different departments at a state university in Ankara were chosen by stratified random sampling and applied “Student Needs Assessment Survey” online. The total of 1276 students completed the survey with no missing data. The gathered data were analyzed via descriptive statistics and Multivariate Analysis of Variance. The results showed that students need professional support most. The needs related to professional, emotional and university life change depending upon sex while the academic, university life and work skills needs change depending upon class level. The results also show that students prefer having activities primarily at the beginning of the academic year, between the hours of 15:30-17:00 and in the format of presentation. The announcement of events by e-mail was the most popular announcement for students.
