This study concerns the needs of graduate academic writers and the tutoring styles they want writing center tutors to adopt. After a brief literature review on current tutoring styles, tutees’ perceptions of their own needs with respect to tutoring styles will be explained by sharing our findings obtained from tutees through vignettes and in-depth interviews.
