The investigation of quantum efficiency constituents of InAs/AlSb/GaSb based N structure type-II SL photodetectors with InAlAs interface
KILIÇ, ALİ YAVUZ; TANSEL, TUNAY; HOŞTUT, MUSTAFA; ELAGÖZ, SEZAİ; ERGÜN, YÜKSEL (IOP Publishing, 2018-09-01)
We report on the optical properties of InAs/AlSb/GaSb based Type-II superlattice N-structure with p on n configuration. The detector structure is designed to operate in the mid wavelength infrared range with 50% cut-off wavelength of 4.88 mu m at 79 K. Electronic properties of N-structure such as heavy hole-light hole splitting energies are optimized by a first principles approach taking into account InAlAs interface bonding between InAs/AlSb layers. A responsivity of 1.13 A/Wat 3.2 mu m was measured under ...
The investigation of electronic nature and mechanical properties under spin effects for new half-metallic ferromagnetic chalcogenides Ag3CrX4 (X = S, Se, and Te)
Erkisi, Aytac; YILDIZ, BUĞRA; Wang, Xiaotian; Isik, Mehmet; Ozcan, Yusuf; Sürücü, Gökhan (2021-02-01)
© 2020This study presents the electronic and mechanical characteristics of ternary silver-based Ag3CrX4 (X = S, Se, and Te) chalcogenides having simple cubic crystalline structure (SC), conforming P4-3m (space group: 215) that are studied under the spin-polarized Generalized Gradient Approach (GGA) within the framework of the Density Functional Theory (DFT). The stable magnetic phase has been determined as the ferromagnetic (FM) phase for all studied systems. Then, phase stability, mechanical, thermal and e...
THE GROWTH OF SNSBSE2 CRYSTAL AND THE INVESTIGATION OF PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF THERMALLY EVAPORATED SNSBSE2 THIN FILMS
Bektaş, Tunç; Parlak, Mehmet; Erçelebi, Ayşe Çiğdem; Department of Physics (2022-2)
The aim of this study is to characterize the structural, optical and electrical proper ties of both SnSbSe bulk crystal and SnSbSe thin films. For this purpose, SnSbSe crystal were grown and SnSbSe thin film were deposited on glass substrates by using vertical Bridgman and thermal evaporation methods respectively. For SnSbSe bulk crystal, Energy Dispersive X-Ray, Scanning Electron Microscopy, X-Ray Diffrac tion and Raman measurement were performed to investigate the structural analysis. Also, spectroscopic ...
The investigation of electronic, anisotropic elastic and lattice dynamical properties of MAB phase nanolaminated ternary borides: M 2 AlB 2 ( M = Mn , Fe and Co ) under spin effects
Surucu, Gokhan; YILDIZ, BUĞRA; Erkisi, Aytac; Wang, Xiaotian; Surucu, Ozge (Elsevier BV, 2020-10-01)
In the present study, the structural, electronic, magnetic, anisotropic elastic and lattice dynamic properties of the ternary metal borides (, and ) known as MAB phases have been investigated by density functional theory. The obtained results from the structural optimizations show that all these compounds have negative formation enthalpy implying the thermodynamic stability and synthesizability. The spin effects on the phases have been studied with the plotted energy-volume curves for different magnetic pha...
