We have performed self-consistent-field (SCF) calculations of the electronic structure of InSe/GaSe superlattices with square-well potential profile within the effective-mass theory. We have calculated the optical transition matrix elements involving transitions from the hole states to electron states, and we have also computed the oscillates strength matrix elements for the transitions among the electron states. Optical transitions in Si/Ge superlattices
Erkoc, S; Katırcıoğlu, Şenay (1997-02-28)
We have performed self-consistent field calculations of the electronic structure of Si/Ge square-well superlattices within the effective-mass theory. We have computed the optical transition matrix elements involving transitions from the hole states to states in the conduction band, and we have also computed the oscillator strength matrix elements for the transitions between the states in the conduction band. Magnetic moments of Delta baryons in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (2000-10-23)
We calculate the magnetic moments of Delta baryons within the framework of QCD sum rules. A comparison of our results on the magnetic moments of the Delta baryons with the predictions of different approaches is presented.
DEPENDENCE OF RESONANCE STATES ON DOPING LEVEL AND DOPING DISTRIBUTION TYPE IN GAAS GA0.75AL0.25AS SUPERLATTICE
Katırcıoğlu, Şenay (1994-05-10)
The electronic structure of a uniformly and modulation-doped GaAs/Ga0.75Al0.25As superlattice has been investigated by a self-consistent field calculation within the effective mass approximation for three different doping concentrations. It has been found that the resonance state energies show a strong dependence on the doping level and the doping distribution type of the superlattice.
Optical characterization of CuIn5S8 crystals by ellipsometry measurements
IŞIK, MEHMET; Gasanly, Nizami (2016-04-01)
Optical properties of CuIn5S8 crystals grown by Bridgman method were investigated by ellipsometry measurements. Spectral dependence of optical parameters; real and imaginary parts of the pseudodielectric function, pseudorefractive index, pseudoextinction coefficient, reflectivity and absorption coefficients were obtained from the analysis of ellipsometry experiments performed in the 1.2-6.2 eV spectral region. Analysis of spectral dependence of the absorption coefficient revealed the existence of direct ban...
