A fuzzy supersymmetric non-linear sigma model

2004-12-20
We present the ideas leading to the construction of non-linear sigma model on the fuzzy supersphere S-F((2,2)). In a recent article(1) Bott projectors have been used to obtain the fuzzy CP1 model. Here we obtain the supersymmetric extensions of these projectors and their fuzzy versions. The latter are then used W construct the non-linear sigma model on S-F((2,2)). We discuss the interpretation of the resulting model as a finite-dimensional matrix model.

The exclusive (B)over-bar ->pi e(+)e(-) and (B)over-bar ->rho e(+)e(-) decays in the two Higgs doublet model with flavor changing neutral currents
Iltan, EO (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 1999-10-30)
We present the leading logarithmic QCD corrections to the matrix element of the decay b --> de(+)e(-) in the two Higgs doublet model with tree level flavor changing currents (model III). We continue studying the differential branching ratio and the CP-violating asymmetry for the exclusive decays B --> pi e(+)e(-) and B --> pe(+)e(-) and analysing the dependencies of these quantities on the selected model III parameters, xi(U,D), including the leading logarithmic QCD corrections. Further, we present the forw...
A perturbative treatment for the energy levels of neutral atoms
Ikhdair, Sameer M.; Sever, Ramazan (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2006-12-20)
Energy levels of neutral atoms have been reexamined by applying an alternative perturbative scheme in solving the Schrodinger equation for the Yukawa potential model with a modified screening parameter. The predicted shell binding energies axe found to be quite accurate over the entire range of the atomic number Z up to 84 and compare very well with those obtained within the framework of hypervirial-Pade scheme and the method of shifted large-N expansion. It is observed that the new perturbative method may ...
CORE POLARIZATION EFFECTS ON THE MAGNETIC FORM-FACTORS OF N-15 AND O-17
GOKALP, A; YILMAZ, O (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1992-05-01)
The effects of the first- and the second-order core polarization on the elastic magnetic form factors of N-15 and O-17 are investigated using the perturbation theory based on the harmonic-oscillator shell model, in which for the matrix elements of the two-nucleon interaction the Sussex matrix elements are employed. The core polarization reduces the single-particle value of M3 part of the form factor of O-17, however the reduction of the form factor of N-15 does not lead to an improved agreement with experim...
SENSITIVITY OF THE STOKES PARAMETERS IN THE DECAY B-]S-GAMMA-G TO THE MODEL OF FCNC
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; TURAN, G (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1995-01-01)
We calculated the Stokes parameters which characterize the polarization properties of the photons produced in the decay b-->s gamma g in the framework of the Standard Model (SM) and Two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM). It is shown that the Stokes parameter xi 3, which defines the linear photon polarization with a polarization vector in the decay plane, is very sensitive to the parameters of the above-mentioned models. The predicted values of xi(3) are large enough (in some cases it achieves the maximum possible ...
THE SCALAR UNPARTICLE EFFECT ON THE CHARGED LEPTON ELECTRIC DIPOLE MOMENT
Iltan, E. O. (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2009-06-10)
We study the charged lepton electric dipole moment which is induced by the scalar unparticle mediation and we predict the appropriate range for the free parameters appearing in the effective Lagrangian which drives the unparticle-standard model lepton interactions. We observe that the charged lepton electric dipole moment is strongly sensitive to the scaling dimension d(u) of the unparticle and the new couplings in the effective interaction. Furthermore, we see that the current experimental limits of charge...
