The title compounds, propynylferrocene, [Fe(C5H5)(C8H7)], (I), and (phenylethynyl) ferrocene, [Fe(C5H5)(C13H9)], (II), are stabilized by weak C-H center dot center dot center dot pi interactions. The C C bond distances in these molecules are in the range 1.182 (3)-1.192 (3) angstrom. In (II), the ferrocenyl and phenyl groups are perpendicular, making an angle of 89.06 (13)degrees, which is a rare occurrence.

Turgut, G; Zora, Metin; Odabasoglu, M; Ersanli, CC; Buyukgungor, O (International Union of Crystallography (IUCr), 2005-05-01)
The crystal structure of the title compound, C2H10N2O2+• 2Cl(-), is built up from one 2-hydroxyethylhydrazinium(2+) cation and two Cl- anions. The molecular structure is stabilized by O-H••• Cl and N-H••• Cl hydrogen bonds. The crystal structure is stabilized by one N-H••• O and three N-H••• Cl interactions, and the three-dimensional network of hydrogen bonds stabilizes the crystal packing. All five hydrazinium H atoms are involved in hydrogen...
1SR,2SR,3SR,4RS,5RS,6RS,7SR,8RS)-7,8-dichlorobicyclo[4.2.0]octa-2,3,4,5-tetrayl tetraacetate
Sahin, Ertan; Kelebekli, Latif; Kara, Yunus; Balcı, Metin (International Union of Crystallography (IUCr), 2006-07-01)
In the title compound, C16H20Cl2O8, the bicyclic system contains a central non-planar cyclohexane ring which is fused to a cyclobutane moiety. The cyclohexane ring has a chair conformation and the whole system adopts a syn conformation. The structure provides information on the stereochemical course of the chlorination, photo-oxidation and hydroxylation steps of the reaction.
BOROPHOSPHATES - A NEGLECTED CLASS OF COMPOUNDS - CRYSTAL-STRUCTURES OF M(II)[BPO5] (M(II)=CA, SR) AND BA-3[BP3O12]
KNIEP, R; GOZEL, G; EISENMANN, B; ROHR, C; ASBRAND, M; KIZILYALLI, M (Wiley, 1994-04-18)
Vertex‐sharing BO4 and PO4 tetrahedra form the framework of the title compounds. Ca[BPO5] and Sr[BPO5] crystallize in the stillwellite structural type and contain tetrahedral chain anions urn:x-wiley:05700833:media:ANIE199407491:tex2gif-stack-1[BPOurn:x-wiley:05700833:media:ANIE199407491:tex2gif-stack-2], which can be described as loop‐branched “dreier” single chains. In Ba3[BP3O12] the urn:x-wiley:05700833:media:ANIE199407491:tex2gif-stack-3tetrahedral anions form “zweifach” open “vierer” single chains. Gi...
Synthesis, Characterization and Evaluation of Cytotoxic Activities of Novel Aziridinyl Phosphonic Acid Derivatives
Khan, Rehan; Ulusan, Sinem; Banerjee, Sreeparna; Doğan, Özdemir (Wiley, 2019-11-01)
New aziridine 2-phosphonic acids were prepared by monohydrolysis of the aziridine 2-phosphonates that were obtained by the modified Gabriel-Cromwell reaction of vinyl phosphonate or alpha-tosylvinyl phosphonate with a primary amine or a chiral amine. The cellular cytotoxicity of these compounds was tested against the HCT-116 colorectal cancer cell lines and the CCD-18Co normal colon fibroblast lines using the MTT assay. Three of the synthesized phosphonic acid derivatives 2e (ethyl hydrogen {(2S)-1-[(1S)-1-...
Immobilization of tyrosinase and alcohol oxidase in conducting copolymers of thiophene functionalized poly(vinyl alcohol) with pyrrole
Yildiz, Huseyin Bekir; Sahmetlioglu, Ertugrul; Boyukbayram, Ayse Elif; Toppare, Levent Kamil; Yagci, Yusuf (Elsevier BV, 2007-08-01)
Immobilization of tyrosinase and alcohol oxidase is achieved in the copolymer of pyrrole with vinyl alcohol with thiophene side groups (PVATh-co-PPy) which is a newly synthesized conducting polymer. PVATh-co-PPy/alcohol oxidase and PVATh-co-PPy/tyrosinase electrodes are constructed by the entrapment of enzyme in conducting copolymer matrix during electrochemical copolymerization. For tyrosinase and alcohol oxidase enzymes, catechol and ethanol are used as the substrates, respectively. Kinetic parameters: ma...
