Panik Bozuklukta Bilişsel Davranışçı Terapi: Bir Olgu Sunumu

Bu olgu sunumunda, DSM-5’e göre panik bozukluk belirtileri gösteren, 19 yaşında erkek bir danışanın, Bilişsel Davranışçı Terapi yaklaşımıyla 11 seanslık tedavi süreci anlatılmıştır. Danışanın akut problemi olan panik atak semptomlarıyla başa çıkmak için yaptığı güvenlik sağlayıcı davranışlar ve kaçınma davranışları davranışçı yaklaşımla ortadan kaldırılmış, bedensel duyumları hakkındaki yanlış yorumlamaları ise bilişsel yaklaşımla değiştirilmiştir. Danışanın diğer şikayeti olan, evde yalnız kalmaktan korkma ile ilgili, yaşayarak maruz bırakma kapsamında ev ödevleri planlanmıştır. Bu uygulamaların neticesinde; güvenlik sağlayıcı davranışları ya da kaçınmaları olmaksızın, korktuğu felaketlerin gerçekleşmediğini deneyimlemesi sağlanmıştır. Panik bozuklukla ilgili psiko-eğitim, bilişsel yeniden yapılandırma, maruz bırakma, nefes ve gevşeme egzersizleri, duyguları ben dili ile ifade edebilme öğretimini içeren bu tedavi yaklaşımının detayları ve sonuçları ilgili literatür ışığında detaylandırılmıştır.
