We study the lepton flavor violating (LFV) H+-->W(+)l(i)(-)l(j)(+) and the lepton flavor conserving (LFC) H+-->W(+)l(i)(-)l(i)(+) (l(i)=tau,l(j)=mu) decays in the framework of the general two Higgs doublet model, the so-called model III. We estimate the decay width of LFV (LFC) decay at the order of magnitude of 10(-11)-10(-5) GeV (10(-9)-10(-4) GeV), for 200 GeVless than or equal tom(H+/-)less than or equal to400 GeV, and intermediate values of the coupling (xi) over bar (E)(N,taumu)similar to5 GeV ((xi) over bar (E)(N,tautau)similar to30 GeV). We observe that experimental results for the process under consideration can give comprehensive information about physics beyond the standard model and the existing free parameters.

LEPTON FLAVOR VIOLATING l(i) -> l(j)gamma gamma DECAYS INDUCED BY SCALAR UNPARTICLE
Iltan, E. O. (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2008-12-21)
We study the radiative lepton flavor violating l(i) -> l(j)gamma gamma decays in the case that the lepton flavor violation is induced by the scalar unparticle mediation. We restrict the scaling dimension d(u) and the scalar unparticle photon-photon coupling by using the experimental upper limit of the branching ratio of the decay mu -> c gamma gamma. Furthermore, we predict the BRs of the other radiative decays by using the restrictions we get. We observe that the measurements of upper limits of BRs of thes...
Neutral Higgs H-0 -> h(0)(A(0))l(i)(-)l(j)(+) decay
Iltan, EO (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2003-07-20)
We study the lepton flavor violating H-0 --> h(0)(A(0))l(i)(-)l(j)(+) and the lepton flavor conserving H-0 --> h(0)(A(0))l(i)(-)l(j)(+) (l(i) = tau, l(j) = mu) decays in the framework of the general two-Higgs doublet model, the so-called model III. We estimate the decay width of LFV (LFC) process at the order of magnitude of 10(-5) GeV (10(-4) GeV), for m(H0) = 150 GeV, and the intermediate values of the coupling xi(N,taumu)(E) similar to 5 GeV (xi(N,tautau)(E) similar to 30 GeV). The experimental result of...
GROWTH OF IN1-XTLXSB A NEW INFRARED MATERIAL, BY LOW-PRESSURE METALORGANIC CHEMICAL-VAPOR-DEPOSITION
CHOI, YH; Beşikci, Cengiz; SUDHARSANAN, R; RAZEGHI, M (AIP Publishing, 1993-07-19)
We report the growth of In1-xTlxSb, a new III-V alloy for long-wavelength infrared detector applications, by low-pressure metalorganic chemical vapor deposition. In1-xTlxSb with good surface morphology was obtained on both GaAs and InSb substrates at a growth temperature of 455-degrees-C. X-ray diffraction measurements showed resolved peaks of In1-xTlxSb and InSb films. Infrared absorption spectrum of In1-xTlxSb showed a shift toward lower energies compared to InSb spectrum. Hall mobility data on In1-xTlxSb...
All solution processed, nanowire enhanced ultraviolet photodetectors
Afal, Aysegul; Coskun, Sahin; Ünalan, Hüsnü Emrah (AIP Publishing, 2013-01-28)
We report on the fabrication and characterization of transparent and fully solution processed, nanowire based ultraviolet (UV) photodetectors with high responsivity. For this purpose, UV sensitive zinc oxide (ZnO) nanowires were grown hydrothermally on transparent electrodes formed by spray coated network of silver (Ag) nanowires. Fabricated UV photodetectors showed short recovery time, around 4 s, with a decent on/off ratio of 2600. Effect of in-situ annealing and nanowire length was investigated. Our desi...
Lambda(b) -> Lambda l(+)l(-) decay in universal extra dimensions
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2007-03-01)
We study the exclusive Lambda(b) ->Lambda l(+)l(-)(l = mu,Gamma) decay in the Appelquist, Chang, Dobrescu model with a single universal extra dimension. We investigate the sensitivity of the branching ratio, lepton polarization and forward-backward asymmetry A(FB) to the compactification parameter 1/R. We obtain the result that the branching ratio for the Lambda(b) -> Lambda l(+)l(-) (l = mu, T) decay changes about 25% compared to the SM value when 1/R = 250 GeV, and the zero position of the forward-backwar...
