Mimarlık, farklı şekillerde ve farklı amaçlar dahilinde hareket ve değişimi mimarlık paradigmasında barındırabilmek için tarih boyunca çeşitli yollar aramıştr. Bununla birlikte, mimarlık doğası gereği değişen ihtyaçlara, koşullara ve işlevlere cevap verebilecek, uyum sağlayabilecek şekilde kurgulanırken geçici değil, statk olmayı gerektrmektedir. Yapıların sürekli değişen koşullara nasıl cevap vereceği karmaşık bir tasarım problemi olarak karşımıza çıkmakta ve birçok farklı tasarım arayışını beraberinde getrmektedir. Gelişmekte olan teknolojilerin ve disiplinler arası çalışmanın yardımı ile tasarlanan hareketli yapılar ve yapı bileşenleri önerilen yöntemler arasında güncel bir çözüm olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Günümüzde, hesaplamalı tasarım süreçlerinin parametrik modelleri, performansa dayalı tasarım araştrmalarının genel yöntemini oluşturmaktadır. Bununla birlikte, hareketn sayısal mekândan fziksel mekâna, malzemesizlikten malzemeye aktarılması çoğunlukla güç bir iş olmuştur. Bu aktarımla birlikte sayısal ortamdaki değişim özgürlüğü, gerçek dünyadaki fziksel kurallar ile sınırlandırılmakta ve gerçek bir mimarlık/mühendislik problemi olarak çözüm gerektrmektedir. Bu dönüşümde, mimarların tepkimeli yapı / yapı bileşenlerinin hayata geçirilmesi hakkında gerçekçi bir kavrayışa kavuşması için, hareketn elde edilmesi ve kinetk sistemlerin işleyişi hakkında fkir sahibi olmaları gerekmektedir. Sunulan çalışma, ODTÜ Sayısal Tasarım Stüdyosu dönem projeleri ile disiplinlerarası çalışma ortamında hareket kavramının hem tasarım sürecinin hem de tasarımın bir parçası olarak ele alınmasını ve bu sayede sayısal ortamın özgürlükleri ve fziksel ortamın kısıtları arasındaki ikiliği uzlaştrılması gerekliliğini deneyimleyerek öğretmeyi hedefeyen eğitm yaklaşımını sürecin bileşenleri ile birlikte ele almaktadır. Bu süreç içerisindeki iteratf aşamalar (hikayeleştrme, mekanın oluşturulması, hareketli sistemlerin tasarlanması, mekanın dönüşümü gibi) detayları olarak aktarılmış, öğrenci ve eğitmen deneyimleri paylaşılmıştr
