The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between time management practices and academic achievement of university students, and to find out the difference between female and male university students in time management and academic achievement. 361 university students completed Time Management Questionnaire (TMQ) that has three subscales and students' Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) was obtained from university records for the measure of academic achievement. Results indicated that there was a positive significant correlation between academic achievement and general time management. There was a negative significant correlation between academic achievement and time wasters. But no significant correlation was found between academic achievement and time attitudes. Results also revealed that there was a significant difference between gender groups in time planning and general time management. It was found female university students were better in time planning and general time management than male university students.
