A DNA-free colorimetric probe based on citrate-capped silver nanoparticles for sensitive and rapid detection of coralyne
Usta, Hatice Muge; Forough, Mehrdad; Persil Çetinkol, Özgül (Elsevier BV, 2019-11-01)
This paper presents a simple, sensitive and reliable strategy for the colorimetric determination of coralyne (COR) using citrate-capped silver nanoparticles (Cit-AgNPs). In the presence of NaC1, COR induces the aggregation of Cit-AgNPs, resulting in a change of color from shinny yellow to pink. Significant variables affecting the proposed method (salt concentration, interaction time, interaction temperature and pH) were evaluated and optimized to achieve the maximum sensing performance. Optimal conditions w...
A Microwave Kinetic Inductance Detector for the DAG Telescope
GÜVER, Tolga; Mazin, Benjamin A.; O'Brien, Kieran; Kay, Burak; Alis, Sinan; Yelkenci, F. Korhan; YEŞİLYAPRAK, Cahit; Yerli, Sinan Kaan; Erol, Ayse; KESKİN, ONUR (2016-06-29)
We present the details of a proposed microwave kinetic inductance detector (MKID) for the DAG (Eastern Anatolia Observatory in Turkish) telescope, DAG-MKID. The observatory will have a modern 4m size telescope that is currently under construction. Current plan to obtain the first light with the telescope is late 2019. The proposed MKID based instrument will enable astronomers to simultaneously detect photons in the relatively wide wavelength range of 4000 - 13500 ˚A with a timing accuracy of µs and spectral...
