Bu çalışmada firmalar arası güvenin performansa etkileri eczane-ecza deposu ilişkisi bağlamında incelenmiştir. Modelde risk alma eğilimi ile güven arasındaki ilişki sorgulanmakta, böylece yazında incelenmemiş bir alana bakılmaktadır. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre güvenin işlem maliyetleriyle olumsuz, işbirliği, çatışma çözümü, memnuniyet ve risk alma eğilimiyle olumlu ilişkisi bulunmaktadır. Güven artınca risk alma eğiliminde artış olacağına ilişkin sonuç akademik yazına önemli bir katkı sağlamaktadır. Bir diğer önemli bulgu karşılıklı bağımlılığın güven üzerinde etkileşimsel bir etkisi olduğu, yani güven ile memnuniyet arasındaki ilişkiyi güçlendirdiğidir. Buna göre taraflar birbirlerine bağımlı olmadıklarını düşündüklerinde ilişkiden daha memnun olmaktadırlar. Çalışma hem hizmet sektöründe yapılması, hem de gelişmekte olan ülke bağlamında olması nedeniyle mevcut yazına yeni bir boyut kazandırmayı amaçlamaktadır.
